Sex Education

This is taught as part of the 'Science' curriculum and therefore parents cannot withdraw their children from these statutory lessons.  The lessons are part of the compulsory science curriculum and include

• Using the correct names for the parts of the body.
• How our bodies change as we grow.
• Life cycles including reproduction and birth 
• Staying healthy and keeping our bodies healthy.
