Welcome to the school council page at Westbrook Primary!

 

At Westbrook Primary our Councillors are voted for by the pupils in their class at the start of the school year. We have one council member in each class.

Our deputy head creates the meeting agendas, with the Councillors, and this is discussed in each class before the official meeting takes place. This way Councillors are able to bring the opinions of their peers to the meeting.

Our School Council also listens to any concerns and views of other children. Part of their role is to come up with ideas to help improve our school and make decisions about future changes.

Being a Councillor is a very responsible position and the children involved play a very important part in developing Westbrook Primary for the better.
